So, who is WW?
We are Drexel’s premier outdoor recreation club! If it happens outside of four walls, we probably do it (except for skydiving… sad)! We provide Drexel students with not only the gear and resources to get outside, but with guided trips at affordable prices so that everyone can relax and enjoy the outdoors! From hiking, to water skiing, and everything in between, Weekend Warriors is the best way to get outdoors at Drexel!
So that’s great… but like how does it work?

We provide students the ability to come on trips with us! Usually (except for right now due to COVID rules), we providence transportation to and from trips! This allows us to go to places that are outside of Philadelphia! We go as close as Drexel or the Wiss and as far as the Poconos, Jersey Shore, even Maryland, and we are constantly expanding our reach!
The most common trips that we do are hiking trips, but some notable seasonal trips are:
Spring: Hiking, Biking, Climbing
Summer: Hiking, Water Skiing/Wakeboarding, Climbing, Tubing
Fall: Hiking, Paintball, Climbing
Winter: Hiking, Skiing, Snowshoeing

Ticket prices are dependent on the type of trip, but are all inclusive (covers transportation and any other costs). Through the university, students get tickets for normally expensive things for quite cheap! Skiing for the day usually is near $60 for the whole thing for example!

Transportation is provided by either coach bus, Drexel University busses, or by trip leaders themselves depending on the trip! For most hikes for example, trip leaders usually drive their own cars and take participants with them! For larger trips, such as skiing or biking, transportation by bus is usually provided!
